Venue Highlights

Located within the prestigious Brisbane Technology Park, the BTP Technology & Conference Centre is a modern conferencing venue with multi-functional facilities.

The spacious Atrium area with its natural lighting, and unique marble terrazzo floor panel, is ideal for hosting exhibitions, and trade-shows, and may also be used as a break area.

Adjoining the atrium, is the Sir Ian Clunies Ross Auditorium, which can accommodate up to 750 people, or can be sub-divided into two or three smaller conferencing rooms suitable for meetings, seminares or workshops. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned with pillarless space, and had complete black-out capabilities. The undulating cast iron ceiling is not only an impressive architectural reature, but provides excellent accoustic properties.

Conveniently located just 10mins from the Brisbane CBD, the BTP Centre is easily accessible to the Brisbane International Airport, Gold and Sunshine Coasts, Ipswich and Toowoomba.

The BTP Technology & Conference Centre is set in tranquil parklands, and complimentary onsite car parking is available.

The BTP Centre is located within 2 minutes drive of 3.5 star accommodation and corporate rates are available.

Alternatively, 5 star accommodation is avaialble in the Brisbane CBD, just 10 mins away.

The resident catering team at the BTP Technology & Conference Centre can provide an extensive range of catering solutions for any event. Regardless if you are catering for 4 or 400 people, our menu selections are designed for maximum flexibility for all occasions - from morning coffees and working lunches, to cocktail parties and themed banquets.

If you have a special request or theming concept in mind, our experienced catering team will be delighted to work closely with you to create and customize a menu that is suitable for your event and budget.

Our fully qualified chefs take pride in using the freshest produce and quality ingredients seasonally available,a nd special dietary and cultural requirements are always thoughtfully accommodated.

Technical Facilities

Audio Visual is an integral component to any event or conference. The BTP Technology and Conference Centre maintains a vast inventory of the latest technology and equipment at competive prices, and our preferred Audio Visual supplier ensures our clients have acess to knowledge and support from specialist technicians.

Each auditorium is equipped with in-floor fibre linked data cables and electrical points, enabling 100Mbit internet access, video conferencing and web/data casting capabilities. All auditoriums include a large 12'x 9' screen, along with a complimentary lectern & microphone, and whiteboard.
