Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is Australia's most awarded venue and has been officially ranked among the top three convention centres world-wide on three separate occasions.

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) on Grey Street, the Centre's new boutique expansion, designed for smaller and medium sized meetings and events, is set to transform the world of meetings and events offering more choices and greater options than ever before in an even more sophisticated venue.

BCEC on Grey Street will challenge the traditional venue and value offerings of hosting events with its impressive portfolio of unique meeting and events spaces.

The Centre's newly integrated facilities will offer the most comprehensive range to suit all requirements for every event from 8 to 8,000.

Location

Located in the unique riverside South Bank cultural and entertainment precinct, home to more than 35 cafes, bars and restaurants and Australia's most celebrated Gallery of Modern Art, the Centre will have direct access to South Bank's Grey Street with the opening of BCEC on Grey Street.

Winner of 52 catering awards including being judged Australia's Best Function Centre Caterer on two occasions and voted the world's best caterer in a client survey of international convention centres. Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre enjoys an outstanding reputation for its much acclaimed world class catering.

A team of highly skilled and talented Chefs, led by Executive Chef, Martin Latter, deliver world class restaurant style dining experiences across all events with everything prepared in the Centre's in-house kitchens.

Technical Facilities

With 16 years venue experience, more than 11,000 events of all types and one of the biggest equipment inventories in Australia, there is no challenge that the Centre's expert AV and IT professionals have not tackled. The Centre is constantly upgrading its technical equipment with the latest acquisition - a giant 20 metre by 5 metre Stumpfl front projection screen.

The new screen, in high demand just weeks after delivery, is the perfect match for our recently purchased HD projectors and represents the very latest in advanced presentation technology, ensuring your next plenary session, gala dinner or awards night is a triumph.

Additional Information

The Centre is a transport hub for trains, buses and the city's high speed CityCats and provides undercover parking for 1500 vehicles with direct access to the convention and exhibition facilities.
