Venue Highlights

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is Australia's most awarded venue and has been officially ranked among the top three convention centres world-wide on three separate occasions.

With the opening in 2011 of Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on Grey Street, a new five level boutique expansion, specifically designed to accommodate meetings of 400 and 600, the Centre will become Australia's most flexible meetings and events venue.

The Centre recently launched a dedicated art gallery to showcase our collection of traditional Indigenous art. The Gallery also offers an innovative and unique venue space for VIP events, dinner parties and cocktails for up to 200 guests.

Location

The Centre is located in the unique riverside precinct at South Bank in downtown Brisbane, home to Brisbane's thriving arts and cultural community and Australia's largest and most celebrated Gallery of Modern Art, together with more than 30 cafes, bars and restaurants and stylish shops.

Catering Information

Winner of 49 catering awards, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre was voted the world's best caterer in the recent AIPC International client survey of convention centres. A team of internationally trained Chefs led by Executive chef Martin Latter, deliver restaurant style dining experiences across all events, with everything prepared in-house in the Centre's kitchens. The Centre has continued its outstanding reputation for innovative and contemporary cuisine by introducing a range of organic produce options to its menus.

Technical Facilities

With 15 years venue experience and more than 10,000 events of all types there is no challenge that the Centre's in-house experienced Audio Visual and Event Production Team hasn't tackled. Event organisers have on site access to the entire team of AV and IT specialists and the wide ranging resources available.

Additional Information

The Centre is a transport hub for trains, buses and the city's high speed CityCats and provides undercover parking for 1500 vehicles with direct access to the convention and exhibition facilities.
