Flowerdale Estate Retreat, a magnificent historic Australian homestead property located on a working alpaca stud farm in an area known as the "Valley of a Thousand Hills", just 70 minutes from CBD Melbourne.
The property has a long history dating back to 1842 when the original homestead was built on a 10,000 acre sheep station. Today it runs almost 200 adorable alpacas. Enjoy a unique experience. Conference at the only venue situated on a working alpaca stud farm.

Located on 150 acres of Victoria's prime pastoral land, surrounded by rolling hills and animals quietly grazing in the fields, with an abundance of bush birds and native animals, Flowerdale Estate is right on the edge of the Yarra Valley and just north of Melbourne. Only 70 minutes from the CBD and 50 minutes from the airport.
The Yarra Valley abounds with famous wineries offering tours and tastings of some of the best wines in the country. Visit the beautiful Strath Creek Falls or fish for trout in the King Parrot Creek that runs through our property
Accommodation
The guest rooms at Flowerdale Estate have an irresistible charm with warm, inviting interiors. The 30 large, elegantly appointed guest rooms provide for up to 30 individuals, 47 guests in twinshare or 60 guests in doubles.
Every guest room offers king or queen sized beds, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, writing desks, digital clock radio, television, direct dial ISD/STD telephone, and data points for email / internet access. The lovely outlook from each room includes views of the gardens, hills and alpacas.

Modern regional cuisine is created by our medal wining chefs from the finest selection of Yarra Valley produce. The mouth watering menus are complimented with a selection of the finest Yarra Valley Wines.
Recreational Facilities
Flowerdale Estate offers so many wonderful ways to take time-out. Extensive recreational facilities include; undercover floodlit tennis court, gym, saunas, indoor pool, volleyball, jogging and walking trails, croquet and nearby golf. Indoor recreation includes billiards, table tennis, board games, bar/lounges and massages by arrangement.

Business Facilities
Conference and syndicate rooms have excellent natural light and full ergonomic chairs for all day comfort. Each room has individual climate and lighting controls. All conference rooms can be set to your requirements from standard conference equipment to advance audio visual facilities. Modem points are located in all conference, syndicate and accommodation rooms.
Accolades
Flowerdale Estate's team of chefs have competed both locally and internationally and have numerous medals to show for these fine efforts. More recently these include Silver medals at the Culinary Challenge held at the Fine Food and Wine Show. Our Executive Chef competed in Dallas, after wining the National Chefs competition for the International Association of Conference Centres in Australia.
