Mystery Creek Events Centre is the ideal venue for any event or function. We specialise in conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, team building and corporate training, weddings, festivals and conventions.
Extensive infrastructure including multiple shower and ablution units, kitchen facilities and telecommunications has been developed among 92 hectares of farm and park land to create a thriving event city.
An abundance of both indoor and outdoor space and multi-functional facilities ensure we have an edge over our competitors in that we can host many components of an event on the one property.

Location
Mystery Creek Events Centre is located right in the heart of the Waikato adjacent to the Hamilton International Airport and just ten minutes from Hamilton, Te Awamutu and Cambridge. Hamilton is within a 1.5hour radius of Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua.
There are several accommodation options available within 5 minutes from the venue. Ample on-site parking is available for up to 15,000 vehicles.
As well as multiple road access, Mystery Creek has its own helipad for air access and a jetty for access from the river.
Catering Information
Have a caterer in mind that you wish to use? Mystery Creek will allow you to utilise your own caterer under the following conditions:
- Your caterer is a registered caterer and holds a current Heath & Hygiene Certificate issued by their local District Council (A copy of this certificate must be sent to Mystery Creek).
- Your caterer will be responsible for the supply of all dinnerware, cutlery and implements required for creating your meal. Mystery Creek will supply linen, napkins and glassware.
- Your caterer must leave the kitchen clean and tidy to meet Mystery Creek Events Centre standards.

Mystery Creek Events Centre is the ideal venue for staff training/ team building, or just a bit of fun. Situated among 92 hectares of park and farm land, with the Waikato river on our doorstep and extensive infrastructure, we have a adventure playground with many activity opportunities available.
Mystery Creek's professional event team can organise everything from specialised team training to caterers, accommodation, guest speakers and entertainment. We tailor make the package to suit your goals and objectives and are designed to challenge, entertain and enhance group cohesiveness.
Technical Facilities
Top acoustic specifications means your event will sound as good as it looks, and a full range of technical support services are available.
STREAM ticketing, developed by Mystery Creek Events Centre, is a world class event entry system designed to speed up the admission process to events, both small and large. Through the use of bar coded technology offers the ability to track individuals and groups and provides accurate gate numbers and reduced leakage to improve your cash and profitability. STREAM also provides personalised tickets, perfect for sponsors, exhibitors and their clients.
Business Facilities
A spectacular new lobby leads to the stylish Convention Suites via a glass elevator providing an impressive entrance to your event. The 260m² Convention Suites overlook the Mystery Creek Pavilion and Convention Centre, with views of the Lake on the opposite side. This area can be utilised as three separate rooms for smaller groups or used as one larger room.
High quality facilities include green rooms with lounge and make-up space, changing rooms, ample toilets and showers, and a fully equipped kitchen with large food preparation area.
