Location

Kingfisher Bay Resort, on the western side of Fraser Island.

Fraser Island lies at the southern end of Great Barrier Reef. It is a 90 minute flight from Sydney or a 45 minute flight from Brisbane or a 3 hour drive from Brisbane, even closer from the Sunshine Coast, sail across the Great Sandy Strait from River Heads.

Access to Fraser Island is easier than ever before with Virgin Blue direct jet services daily from Sydney with other major city connections. QantasLink operate services daily from Brisbane to the Fraser Coast

152 hotel rooms overlooking lakes and bush land, 110 2 and 3 bedroom self-contained villas with bush and sea views and Multi-share Wilderness Lodge accommodation for our famours Cool Dingo Tours.

Sample the delights of Australian bush foods grown in our own gardens and enjoy our famous Queensland seafood.

Three restaurants offer a choice of a la carte dining, themed buffets, poolside lunches, a bistro and pizzeria.

Technical Facilities

Kingfisher Bay Resort caters wonderfully for the meetings market with a main ballroom seating up to 300 theatre style, which is also divisible by three. The main conference area has natural light, views, surrounded by large undercover decks, complete blackout if required, vehicle access for car launches and on and off site catering.

A number of smaller breakout rooms round out our conference offerings. Consider using the natural environment or decked areas adjacent to the conference facilities for your next product launch or trade display. Our Chefs are more than happy to design ‘Australian-themed’ or modern menus, for small intimate groups or large events, within the resort or off-site.
