The Hayman experience begins as most guests arrive at Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island). Greeted by Hayman staff and a glass of sparkling wine, guests board the luxury resort launch for a 55-minute scenic cruise traversing the Whitsunday Passage to Hayman. With rooms registration taking place on board, the arrival procedure is seamless and a memorable start to any event. Alternatively helicopters and seaplanes provide a scenic 15 minute transfer.
Hayman is the closest island in the Whitsundays to the Outer Barrier Reef. AccommodationHayman offers 212 beautifully appointed rooms, suites, penthouses and a villa, situated in Pool, Lagoon, Retreat and Beach Wings, all featuring private terraces or balconies.
Ideal for conference and incentive groups, the Pool Wing, comprising Pool Rooms, Pool Access, Pool Deluxe and Pool Suites, overlooks the famous Hayman Pool and tropical gardens. Level 3 also offers views out to the Coral Sea and neighbouring Hook Island.
For groups requiring larger rooms and suites than those in the Pool Wing, the Lagoon Wing, comprising Lagoon Rooms, Lagoon Deluxe, Lagoon Suites and Penthouses, overlooks the tranquil lagoon, tropical gardens and Lagoon Pool.
