Venue Highlights

An inspiring range of conference and special event venues ranging from the Clancy auditorium which seats 945 to small rooms for intimate meeting space, all with access to state-of-the-art audio visual facilities which is included in the venue hire. Award winning function complex, The Scientia Conference and Events Centre, features architecturally styled ballroom seating 400 for banquets, 520 theatre style, a movie cinema for 266.

To complement this venue, our 2010 Platinum MEA Award winning CBD Campus offers conferencing facilities right in the heart of Sydney city.

Location

Located 10 minutes drive from both the Sydney CBD and airport, the venue is well serviced by public transport and offers car-parking for over 3,000 vehicles, which is free on weekday evenings and all weekend.

Accommodation

Venues and Events manage AGSM Building, a residential conference centre. The conference centre has 4 theatres, the largest can seat 131, 44 hotel rooms, 13 syndicate rooms, and a beautiful courtyard to relax during during your breaks.

UNSW Venues and Events have negotiated discounted rates with local hotels for our clients and delegates, these hotels and rates can be found on our website.

Catering Information

UNSW CBD Campus and AGSM Building have an in-house caterer, Gastronomy, winner of 'Boardroom Caterer of Year' award for the last 6 years. Gastronomy also cater in John Niland Scientia Building Monday to Friday, at the weekends you are welcome to use any gold license caterer. You may use any caterer at all other UNSW venues in Kensington.

Technical Facilities

Extensive sound, lighting and audio-visual systems are just some of the outstanding features of our venues, complimented by helpful, experienced technical staff. All of which comes at no added cost.
