Venue Highlights

Surrounded by 137 acres of parkland, The Tudor-style Chalet incorporates a Grand Hall, adjacent loggia, internal mezzanine balcony and a landscaped private garden. Built in 1928 by master craftsmen using materials salvaged from historic public buildings, the Chalet is listed on both Heritage Victoria and National Trust registers. The Chalet has operated continuously since it opened and is thought to be the only venue from the 1920's that is still operating in its original form.

The Chalet is known for its architectural character, formal garden, as well as the aesthetic qualities of the surrounding parkland.
The Wattle Park Chalet offers a range of facilities for celebrations, events and functions.

For weddings, the private garden, loggia and mezzanine balconies provide elegant, romantic settings, while the Grand Hall can seat up to 180 guests, or 400 guests for a cocktail event.

For conferences and corporate functions, the Grand Hall can accommodate up to 180 delegates in theatre setting or 150 delegates in table arrangements. Breakout areas are available including the balconies', loggia, green room and private garden. A nine-hole golf course is situated within Wattle Park and is available for use by guests. Several accommodation options are available nearby.

There is a 9 hole golf course within Wattle Park incorporating sculptured fairways, first class greens and a creek running through it. Tennis courts are also available for use within the park.
